Betty Konkol was born and raised outside Philadelphia, PA before moving to Peachtree City, GA in 1984 and now resides in Newnan, GA. Since retiring from Delta Air Lines, she is now Manager-Maintenance Administration at ExpressJet Airlines a Regional Airline Partner for Delta Air Lines, United Airlines and American Airlines. She has two children: daughter Brandi and her husband live in Cottage Grove, Minnesota; son Christopher and family live in Senoia, GA. After a 22+ year hiatus, I happily returned to dancing. I enjoy learning new dances as well as working toward perfecting previous routines. Besides dancing, hobbies include: travel, reading, beach time, working outside and playing Words with Friends!
Mercer Hill hails from Augusta, Ga. After high school, graduating in 1963 and attending Augusta College, now Georgia Regents University, he enlisted in the US Air Force. Upon his discharge in 1970, he worked for Delta Air Lines, retiring in 2002. His hobbies include spending time with family and especially the grand children, doing a mean Johnny Cash at karaoke, and dancing. He also works part time at Carriage Lane Church in PTC as their sexton, which is a fancy word for handy man and all around good guy. Since retiring, he has danced with Rachael’s Line Dance team, getting good exercise and meeting some really great people. It is an honor to be involved with this event that benefits our local charities. God bless you all and Thank You for supporting this event.
