Leslie is a retired elementary education teacher who now enjoys traveling the world with her husband, Michael, as well as visiting their four adult children who are sprinkled across the country. Her passion for dance began at age 5 with a ballet class and later expanded to include jazz, Israeli folk and line dance, two-step, and now ballroom. Other interests include organic cooking and gardening, nature conservancy, and reading novels. A Newnan resident since 2012, Leslie is thrilled to be a dancer in such a worthwhile charity event. She is grateful to Rachel Ferguson for creating a thriving dance community which not only provides opportunities to boogie, but also enjoyable exercise and fantastic fellowship.
