Katie Teems is a native of Powder Springs and now works as Communications Coordinator for Coweta-Fayette EMC, where she strives to tell the EMC’s stories and facilitate communication between EMC and the community. Katie is a graduate of Georgia State University where she majored in Creative Writing and minored in Spanish. She spent over two years as an academic writing tutor, a ghost tour guide at the Marietta Square, and a volunteer tutor at Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit high school before dedicating herself to a year of AmeriCorps service in rural West Virginia. While in West Virginia, Katie acted as a liaison between local government and community groups, developed a business map and newsletter, and advocated for dark sky preservation. Above all, Katie is passionate about serving the community and sharing people’s stories, which is why she is so glad to work with Coweta-Fayette EMC
Dallas is employed at Atlanta’s Professional Door where he is the Project Coordinator. He is recently married to Heather Rochester Hampton and was married on September 25th, 2017. His hobbies include fishing, traveling, and enjoying life with his new wife. He is a graduate of Whitewater High in Fayetteville GA.
